Leadership Roles

• Assist incoming freshmen, transfer students, and their families in their transition to Radford University.

• Serve as role model as well as a source of support and information for new first time students at Radford University.

• Leading discussion groups with new students on sensitive issues.

• Assisting in the preparation of Orientation activities and materials.

• Explaining academic opportunities and procedures.

• Acquainting new students with campus services and building locations.

• Aiding in the development of class schedules.

• Assisting with the class registration process.

• Upholding and enforcing all aspects of the University conduct code.

Vice President of Scholarship

Delta Psi chapter of Sigma Kappa 
November 2016 - November 2017

• Serves as a contributing member on the executive council of the Delta Psi chapter for Sigma Kappa sorority.

• Develop a scholarship program to enhance the intellectual growth and development of chapter members and new members.

• Coordinates academic recognition programs for high-achieving members, and those who have improved, such as a scholarship banquet, awards, etc.

• Work closely with and support members not in good academic standing to assist them in their efforts to improve their grade point average.

• Ensure all scholarship policies are followed during officer elections, recruitment, initiation, and throughout each term.

• Develop a resource list of college/university offices and academic centers where members can go for academic assistance.
