Organizational Communication

One of the reasons I decided to major in communication studies was due to the realization that there is so much more to the words we speak than the meanings they represent to us. Organizational communication has equipped me with professional communication skills I can utilize and apply to the corporate and working world as well as my own personal life. This course has allowed me to hone and improve my skill set such as writing, presentation, creative thinking, public speaking, reflection, and time management. I find this especially important in the organizational setting because it fosters so many innovative, progressive ideas when you allow yourself to work with others unlike yourself. I believe it makes you smarter, more productive and valuable and it makes you happier. After taking this course, that has been my experience.
